A movie that is a guilty pleasure
Burlesque. It’s not quite guilty, per se, but I definitely wouldn’t casually mention it to someone I’d just met. Honestly I’m not sure why I liked it so much. I knew it would be a visual spectacle, and that certainly didn’t disappoint, but it’s also a charming movie about sticking it to the man. It wasn’t the most inspired of plots, but the characters were incredibly well-casted and well-played. Sorta like Moulin Rouge, actually. Definitely check Burlesque out if you liked that.
