Fuck yes indeed. This guy is awesome. The other guy, not so much.
People don’t seem to realize that in a “free market,” the trend is always toward oligarchy. In true capitalism, people die. As in, people who have no skills and no way to get those skills fucking starve to death, just because they were born into the wrong social class.
If there was no government intervention, then stuff like anti-trust laws and unions wouldn’t exist, and believe me, that’s not a good thing. Check out the Triangle Shirtwaist fire and tell me that corporations should be able to operate independently of government safety regulations. Check out the ten years just before any recession/depression in our history, and tell me de-regulation leads to prosperity. Oyyy. It’s kind of amazing to me that people are still arguing about this.
